It has been over a month now since I started Mrs. Thrifty's £100 Beauty Challenge and I am proud to say that I have added nothing to my total this month!
I did make two makeup purchases in August: an eyeshadow by 17 in 'Ivory Coast' (using an Advantage voucher, so it only cost a pound) and the Maybelline FitMe foundation stick. I used my Boots points for all of these, meaning they cost me no money. I also used up a bottle of bubblebath, a bottle of nail polish and a mascara last month, meaning I'm slowly getting through our product backlog too. So, my total beauty spend is still just £3.98, leaving £96.02 for the next 11 months.
